My novelette “Now We Paint Worlds”, out today on Tor.com is about a representative of a galactic-wide trade union sent to investigate the disappearance of three inhabited planets (of which her mother was living on one) and a rumor that a strange ascetic man there is somehow responsible.
I am a 3x Nebula Award finalist, a World Fantasy Award finalist, and a Eugie Award Finalist. I have published more than seventy short stories, two novels, and I am the co-host of the Fantastic Fiction at KGB reading series in Manhattan. I am also the creator of the Moksha submissions system, among other things.
