This one took me about a week to make. I’m experimenting with paintovers in Photoshop. That’s where you first render in 3D, and then use Photoshop to add layered effects. The idea is to make the image look painted rather than rendered.

The ZYM 1591 Edgeline Darkhauler arrives in the late afternoon from its home system of Tarphon carrying cargo and passengers. The passengers, a young couple, admire the view, while the captain and her first officer discuss cargo logistics with a local worker.
