I’m very happy to announce that I’ve sold another story to Lightspeed Magazine. “Still You Linger, Like Soot in the Air” will be appearing in a future issue. It takes place in the same universe as my story “Saving Diego” which appeared in Interzone #221. In the far off planet of Gilder Nefan, religious pilgrims seek the council of local holy men, who have the ability to commune with the numens, god-like beings mostly inscrutable by humanity. The only problem is, once you commune with a numen, it’s impossible to be rid of its omnipresent eye. You can read an excerpt of the story over on my Patreon!
