“The Sounds of Old Earth” in Science Fiction World

科幻世界( Science Fiction World) translation issue 9/2015

Yesterday I received my contributor copies of the 科幻世界 (Science Fiction World) translation issue, where my Nebula-nominated story “The Sounds of Old Earth” has been translated into Chinese by Jing Yanfei. I really love the artwork for this, especially the exploding earth, the older man with a cane on the tree with the girl, and the frog in the foreground. This is my second story to be translated into Chinese (the first was “The Meeker and the All-Seeing Eye“, and it’s really cool to think that so many people will be reading my story in another language. (Last I heard, Science Fiction World has a circulation of about 100,000.)
